| Like any Scout Troop in America, Troop 19 goes camping in the woods and attends various camping facilities. Below are some of the places that Troop 19 goes to as well as National functions and camps we attend. If you have any questions, contact the webmaster. | |||

COUNCIL CAMPS Troop 19 is known in the North Mecklenburg area for its great tasting BBQ. Every year on the Friday of Super Bowl weekend, we cook, serve, and deliver this great tasting food. We will start posting ads for this event before Thanksgiving. We also accept online ordering for our BBQ which makes it easier for you to pay in advance if you don't have the time. |

HIGH ADVENTURE BASES Every year as an incentive to help out our local council, we sell Camp Cards. These great cards have many discounts on them and help our boys to fund things for Summer Camp. |

NATIONAL AND WORLD JAMBOREES As part of our continuing attendance at Camp Grimes, Troop 19 built a camp shelter in 2008. This great structure allows us and the many other troops that camp in Campsite 11 at Camp Grimes. This was a Wood Badge ticket item for one of our Assistant Scoutmasters and we have used it ever since. To help pay back what we owe, we have a great patch that we are selling for it. SUMMER CAMP During the Scouting year, there are other ways for our troop to earn money. Many things include popcorn. |
